Objectives: Microglial cells are the central regulators of inflammatory responses in brain and spinal cord. In addition to surveillance during resting state, they become activated due microbial molecules pathological insults. Endogenously expressed Activated protein C (APC) is an anticoagulant molecule with anti-inflammatory cytoprotective roles, mediated by one its receptors, Endothelial receptor (EPCR). This study aimed examine basal inducible expression EPCR unravel regulatory mediators microglia. Methods: We studied probable effects Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), Peptidoglycan (PGN), Polyinosinic–polycytidylic acid [Poly(I:C)] on mRNA levels N9 mouse microglial qPCR flow cytometry. Then, Cyclosporin A (CsA) Mithramycin (MMA) were used inhibit transcription factors promoter region gene, which Nuclear factor T-cells, cytoplasmic 1 (NFATC1), specificity (Sp1). Results: As a result, Sp1 factor’s chemical inhibition impaired upregulating LPS PGN expression. Conclusion: Thus, our data suggest that gave rise increased microglia, mainly through factor.
